Just a quick ask, my Google adsense pin came through last night which I set up. My grand total is currently hovering around the £12 mark, so I ask any visitors to the blog to please click on an ad on your way through and I'll be extremely grateful! I'm hoping that around May time I can buy some new spring clothes with this money as my wardrobe needs a bit of a spring injection as everything is looking a bit tired.

Ok Jo, I just have! I dont really understand the principle of earning by advertising.Do you get paid if someone just clicks on a link or if they buy something?

ReplyDeleteYou can install Google adsense it's called on your blog, then in your layout you can edit the look of the ads once its installed. I'm new to the ad sense stuff, but do this kind of thing for work so makes it a bit easier for me. How it works is that us bloggers get a percentage of money if display ads (which are usually advertising things surrounding the topics on our blog) but we only get any money when visitors click through on the ad displayed to the advertisers landing page, it doesn't matter whether they buy whats being advertised or not. Hope it brings you some extra cash- I'm yet for the money to appear in my bank though, I haven't got that far yet..
